“Twilight” Tv Show Probably Won’t Happen

The Daily Star published a story by the weekend that is most likely completely fictitious, but it’s fun so I’m sharing!

The tabloid story claimed Robert Pattinson was going to enter into one of the biggest contracts in Hollywood history with a $500 million deal to revise his role as Edward on television.

Summit Entertainment — the studio that makes the monster-hit film franchise — is eyeing a TV spinoff based on the popular book and film series, and producers are willing to fork by fistfuls of cash

to convince Pattinson to reprise his role as lovesick immortal Edward Cullen.

The 23-year-old actor could land as much as 1.5million-dollar an episode as part of the deal, which could kick in as early as next year, The Daily Star dished on Sunday. Pattinson’s co-star — and rumored real-life love interest — Kristen Stewart, who plays his on-screen human love Bella Swan in the The Twilight Saga, is additionally being pursued by parties close to the TV deal.
