Paris Hilton Threatens To Sue by “Vacant” Billboard Ad

You may or may not have noticed I’ve sort of had a Paris Hilton ban going on here for quite some moment. After several years of celebrity blogging..I just couldn’t take not one more without Paris Hilton silly story, ugly dress, slutty outfit, new pet..etc. My heart just seriously couldn’t bear to put that negative energy into my work here.

That was until I saw that brilliant-freakin-billboard and now my ban is lifted and my faith in humanity has been restored. All is right in the universe.

Of course she’s gotta be a buzz kill by threatening legal action after an advertising agency

had the nerve to use her image on their billboards selling advertising space with the word “VACANT” superimposed by her face. Well, she can’t sue for false advertising anyway.

Adam McGregor from Media5 told the Sunday Star-Times the company, which had grown from having 35 to 70 advertising sites in Wellington and Auckland, was not using Hilton to endorse their billboards. They were “just having a bit of fun”.

We assume that the agency has taken care of the rights to the image of Paris, but we will ask the question,” McGregor said.
