Kate Winslet is young, gorgeous and wildly successful - just that week racking up her sixth Oscar nomination. And yet she still battles with those old “chubby kid” feelings from her childhood.
She said: ‘As a young girl, I never felt appealing. I was fat and unhappy at times and that kind of thinking stays with you your entire life. There’s always going to be a part of me
that worries about not looking as slim as other actresses.’
I used to think that Kate’s self-deprecation was endearing, but now I’m like…just get by it all ready. You are the hottest thing going right now…own it! Be strong for all the normal sized girls out there.
