Joanna Krupa’s PETA Ad Angers Catholic Church

PETA doesn’t care who it offends. They only care that you don’t eat meat, wear leather-wool-silk or drink milk. Oh, or eat honey. Yep..that’s right. No honey. Once a card carrying PETA myself in my young and liberal years, I realize now that although they mean well..they are just as crazy-radical as the insane conservatives we all form fun of today.

Anyhoo…they’ve gone and angered the Catholic church by allowing a crucifix to touch a naked body.

The President of the Catholic League issued that statement to Fox411: “The fact is that cats and dogs are a lot safer in pet stores than they are in the hands of PETA employees. Moreover, pet stores don’t

rip off Christian iconography and engage in cheap irreligious claims. PETA is a swindle. It additionally has a enlarged and disgraceful record of exploiting Christian and Jewish themes to hawk its ugly services. Those who support that organization sorely need a reality check. They plus need a course in Ethics 101.”

A devout Catholic herself (that has no problem posing nude) shot back at the Catholic League, “As a practicing Catholic, I am shocked that the Catholic League is speaking out against my PETA ads. I’m doing what the Catholic Church should be doing, working to stop senseless suffering of animals, the most defenseless of God’s creation.”
