Jessica Simpson’s Father: Furious with John Mayer
It’s no secret that John Mayer dished on his sexual escapades with Jessica Simpson in his recent interview with Playboy magazine, and Jessica’s dad couldn’t be more upset.
Joe Simpson reportedly called the “No Such Thing” crooner to give him a piece of his mind after hearing the things Mayer said about Jess.
An inside source told press, “Joe took it upon himself to shout John up directly for a ‘man to man’ discussion. Joe didn’t tell Jessica ahead of instance considering he knew she’d object.”
“The conversation was pretty one-sided. Joe told John that he best not even think of uttering Jessica’s name again. John put up a feeble defense — he tried to reason with Joe that he was praising Jessica, not insulting her. But no father wants to build out from an ex-boyfriend about how hot his daughter is in bed — and Joe told John as much. Joe told John to stay away from his family and man-up and apologize for his comments.”
