Jessica Simpson  had to take a break from working on her new country album for a quick trip to the hospital last Friday. Jessica is fine and has already been sent home from Cedars -Sinai Medical after being treated for a kidney infection. Note to Jess: You might want to trade those non-nutritous flavored sugar waters you always drink for some cranberry juice.

“She was hospitalized for a kidney infection, but she has been released and is doing fine. She checked in on Friday dawn considering she was feeling achy and had a fever,” a friend of the family says. “She is so happy she is out and feeling great.”
