Jenny McCarthy Gets An Oprah Talkshow

Jenny McCarthy has come a lengthy way from Playboy cover model and loudmouth MTV game show host. She somehow managed to turn her very average self into a major celeb by writing a few books, championing Autism research, dating Jim Carrey and now she’s inked a huge deal with the Oprah!

Jenny wrangled a multi-year overall deal with Winfrey’s Harpo Prods. to develop projects on different platforms, including a syndicated talk show

that the actress/author would host.
The first collaboration under the pact is a blog by McCarthy on Oprah.com, which launched on Friday. Like other Winfrey proteges-turned-TV moguls, including Rachael Ray and Dr. Phil, McCarthy has been a frequent guest on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

That’s right. Jenny McCarthy will have her own talk show. I didn’t see that one coming, did you?
