Casey Aldridge finally decides to invent an honest woman out of 16 year-old girlfriend/baby mama, Jamie Lynn Spears.

Spears, 16, has been flashing the rock to friends and family around Louisiana and Mississippi, a source close to the family tells PEOPLE. “She’s got an engagement ring,” the source says. “She’s

been showing it off, talking about it.”

The young couple will be bringing in the next generation of Spears-mess that summer. No word yet a wedding moment for the kids.  possibly as soon as Jamie gets her first big girl bra.
