Heath Ledger May Have Been Bipolar

Tragic actor Heath Ledger may have suffered from bipolar disorder, according to a new book.

The Brokeback Mountain star was found dead in his New York apartment in January from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

Now a new biography of the star - entitled Heath: A Family’s Tale - reveals

his uncle Haydn suffers from the depressive condition, and suggests it might have run in the family.

Haydn tells author Janet Fife-Yeomans, “I don’t mind society knowing I have bipolar disorder, and it’s a shame that it took that faraway to be diagnosed.”
