Gwen Stefani: Birth to Baby Zuma

Gwen Stefani finally gave birth to her new son with hubby Gavin Rossdale by her side on Thursday and considering how big her stomach was, I assumed it’d be at least a 10 pounder.

Luckily for Gwen, the baby boy weighed in at 8 lbs. 5 oz. and didn’t tip the scales too much.

The couple stuck with the celebrity-weird-baby-name-trend by going with Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale as the name for their bundle of joy.

There are several possibly sources for the name Zuma. Some claim it’s a nod to Zuma Beach in Malibu, California where the

Stefani/Rossdale clan like to hang out while others say the name comes from the video game of the same name.

Nesta is either Bob Marley’s original name or his middle name - sources can’t agree.

Rock is because….they like to rock out? I like to dance but I doubt I’ll be able to convince my baby daddy to name my child that.

“Kingston, Gwen and Gavin Rossdale welcomed the newest member of their family,” the couple said in a statement. “Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy.
