Ellen DeGeneres taped Friday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday, where she announced that she and her girlfriend, the sexy Portia de Rossi, are getting married. The disclosure occurred the same day that California’s Supreme Court struck down a California law banning homosexual marriage.

“I would like

to say for the first instance, I am announcing that I am getting married. We’re very, very excited. Forgive me for getting emotional. whether I’m getting that emotional now, I can’t imagine what it will be like when we get married.”
