David Hasselhoff’s Hospitalization: Misunderstanding

As previously reported, David Hasselhoff was taken by ambulance to the hospital yesterday for what was believed to be drunkenness. But according to his rep, it was all a big misunderstanding.

The “Baywatch” hunk says he wasn’t drunk yesterday, and that he hadn’t been drinking, but rather was undergoing treatment for an ear infection and taking the prescription drugs Antivert and Antabuse.

Hasselhoff says the combination

of drugs caused his equilibrium to be off-balance, and when the paramedics were mistakenly called, he decided to go to the hospital to fix the problem with his equilibrium.

After an hour at the hospital, David was released and is feeling much better now.  His lawyer told press, “David’s fine and he’s on his way to jury duty today.”
