Billy Joel’s Daughter Alexa Hospitalized After Drug Overdose

Billy Joel’s 23 year-old daughter Alexa Joel is stable after being rushed to the hospital Saturday after a possible drug overdose.

“She was admitted, and doctors are assessing the situation. We have no further comment.”

According to the New York Post

, she allegedly ingested a large number of sleeping pills in what police consider a suicide attempt. Alexa’s roommate called police just before 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Alexa is the only child of the Bill Joel and Christie Brinkley.
