American Idol’s ‘Idol Gives Back’ Rocks Hollywood

It’s been a staple in American popular culture ever since the first season when Kelly Clarkson became the first “Idol.” And now American Idol is making a huge difference in the lives of the less fortunate… with a little help from their friends.

Last night, the Kodak Theatre in Studio City,

California was the place to be for great music, great-looking celebrities and a great cause.  Reportedly six charities were benefittd by the ‘Idol Gives Back’ gig: The Children’s Defense Fund, The Global Fund, produce it Right, Malaria No More, Save the Children, and U.S. Programs and the Children’s Health Fund.
